Beautiful Truck

If you ever visited Northern India or Pakistan, you would come across these beautiful trucks. These are beautiful because every truck is like a ‘character’ from an animated movie.

These were named as ‘Jingle Trucks’ by American Soldiers who were deployed in the Afghanistan region owing to the jingle sound the chains hanging at the back of the trucks would make.

Truck art or for that matter decorating your transport vehicle is a common practice in India and Pakistan. Truck/Lorry/Taxi/Auto Rickshaws drivers like to express themselves through these. These expressions can be in the form of a painting, calligraphic writings, quotations or a mere comment. Probably it goes on to prove that everyone has got an artist in them. A few examples below –

FashionEdit

The lively colours of Pakistani trucks have inspired some fashion designers.[17] The Italian fashion company Dolce & Gabbana used truck art-inspired displays in a 2015 campaign.[18] Although used more often on women’s fashion, some men’s clothing have been inspired by South Asian truck art.[19]

And finally , the one photograph that stands out is the below picture found on Redditt. How would a Tesla truck look on Indian roads.
