If you visit Delhi – India do meet the most outdoorsy resident of the city – The Delhi Walla Mayank Austen Soofi.
A flâneur who clicks pictures, writes about them and shares with everyone to enjoy.
Simple.
He has been collecting moments from quite some time now and plan to archive all the photographs that he has clicked. As per his website :
“The Mayank Austen Soofi Archive will comprise a digital corpus of more than 200,000 photographs and thousands of pages of text, constantly updated and enriched with my ongoing work.”

An outdoorsy artist who stays out most of the time, his repertoire consists of Photography & Writing.
An ardent fan of Marcel Proust and Arundhati Roy, his work is not limited to mere happenstances. In fact, his work attempts to explain our daily lives. Something which is more than what meets the eye. A tribute to the moment just gone-by; a moment that otherwise would have been ignored. Here is a small collection of his work.
