Har ki Paudi

Every evening Haridwar’s ‘Har ki Paudi’ is illuminated by thousands of lamps that are lit by devotees of Hinduism.
During the daytime, the place is swarmed by devotees that take a bath in holy Ganges.
Har ki Paudi is also visited by people to immerse ashes of their loved ones.
As the evening approaches, people start gathering on the ghat to witness the majestic evening prayer called as Aarti.
The enthusiasm is unmatched indeed !
As the evening gathers the dark to call it a day, the holy river Ganga blesses the devotees a good night sleep only to wake them up the next day with a blissful morning !
